MOON LETTERS : POETRY
Mt. Doom - By Curious and White Gull
Gollum:
Dying, ashes, driven mad,
No more conflict good or bad.
All is lost, no hope of heaven.
Redemption spurned, all unforgiven.
Just one task before I'm damned;
If I can't have it, no one can!
Frodo:
Burning, weakness, lusting, lure,
Memory's void, no hope of cure.
Dreams of fire, sight past light,
Just one focus, round and bright.
Just one lifeline, fragile, thin -
Can friendship save this world of men?
Sam:
Hardships, hunger, thirst and pain,
Night fears, day fears, loss, small gain.
Losing, finding, hope, and song,
Holding, loosing, trust gone wrong.
Light beyond the hopeless dark,
Clasping hand with hero's mark.
