MOON LETTERS : TOOKISH TICKLERS
Steward Denethor - Inferno

Steward Denethor, sung to "Good King Wenceslas"
Steward Denethor looked out
On the Pelennor fields.
And he saw the orcs about
With their spears and war shields.
Darkness filled the skies that night
Filling hearts with fe-ar
When a rider came it sight.
It was Farami-i-ir
"Pippen, come and stand by me.
If thou knowst it telling
Master Gandalf where is he?
Faramir is failing."
"Sire, he rides with Shadowfax
Out into the fra-ay
Bringing hope to failing friends.
He will save the da-a-ay."
"Bring my wounded son to me
Bring me pine logs hither.
He and I will shortly burn
And we'll die together."
Son and Father, forth they went
Down into Rath-Dinen.
Pippen ran to Gandalf's side,
hoping he could sa-ave them.
"Gandalf, Denethor is mad.
And he's flipped his lid.
Faramir will soon be dead.
His ego and his id."
"Sauron's arm is longer now
And my kills are needed
But Faramir, he needs me now.
You message I will hee-ee-eed."
Rode the wizard forth that night
Through the spiral city.
Hope he brought to failing hearts.
Removing fear and pity.
Denethor's madness grows now
He jumps onto his pyre.
But Faramir will still live on.
They saved him from the fi-i-re.
