MOON LETTERS : TOOKISH TICKLERS
Take Me Out to the Balrog - Thain of Westfarthing

Sung to the tune of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"

Take me out to the Balrog.
Take me down to the mines.
Show me the bridge over Khazad-dum.
I don't care if it falls and goes boom.
For it's root, root, root for old Gandalf.
If he can't win, it's OK.
For you can't keep a good wizard down.
He'll return some day.

(Inspired by hearing Frank Deford outline the history of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on NPR's "Morning Edition" on Wednesday morning.)
