Lady Evan Star’s Song - by Katrina Nelson

Wistful, is her tender evening song
Soothing as rain on fallen rose petals,

Notes cast upon wind and shadow
Gently capture my heart and ear.

She weaves a comforting promise,
Between tree and starry heaven,

Flickering hope,
A promise for tomorrow.

Weariness conquers all senses
Her music lovingly persuades

Easing my troubled mind…
Rest finally comes.
