MOON LETTERS : POETRY
Dreams of Lothlorien - by Brenda aka Lady_Samwise

I closed my eyes and dreamed
I crossed the river and the stream,
To set foot in fair Lothlorien.

Time stood still, its beauty I beheld,
All love and power in the eyes of Galadriel.
Long ago she did forsake the land beyond the sea,
Her eyes alone conveyed this pain to me,
As my feet did tread in fair Lothlorien.

There in a tree I made my bed,
On a pillow did rest my weary head,
To wonder in vain
At what strength did remain,
In fair Lothlorien.

In her ring was found it all,
While the golden leaves did fall,
My cheeks with tears were stained,
For all my days my heart would remain,
In fair Lothlorien.
