MOON LETTERS : POETRY
Wrapped Around My Neck - By Enelya Taralom
Wrapped around my neck
I wish you had never come to me
I wish none of this had happened
I can't carry your weight
Give me a chance to catch my breath, to take a look around
I see fire, stone, hatred and evil
I see grass, peace, love and goodness
Now open my eyes
Wrapped around my neck
I wish you had never come to me
I wish none of this had happened
I can't carry your weight
How did I get within this fiery chasm?
How could something so small be so big?
I feel it, now you're mine
Wrapped around my neck
